THE SCRIPTURAL ANSWER TO THE QUESTION,

"...what must I do to be saved?"

Salvation results when people put their trust in Jesus

the chart below shows how people expressed their trust in Jesus

Each individual (or individuals)  was told what to do in relation to where they were in reference to the plan of salvation.  For example, Saul (Paul) was only told to be baptized because he already believed, repented, and acknowledged Jesus as the Christ.

As the viewer may conclude, the scriptural answer to the question, "...what must I do to be saved?"  is often different from what many preachers say.  Nevertheless, the Bible is always right.  God's plan of salvation is Jesus and a person believes in Jesus by repenting, acknowledging Jesus as God's Son, and uniting with Him in His death through baptism.
